About Me
Howdy! My name is Nicole and my passion is capturing the emotion and athleticism of horses with their partner. Growing up as a true barn rat since the age of six, I have always been enthralled by horses and will proudly wear the name of horse girl as a badge of honor. It all started in 2015 when I borrowed my dad’s Canon Rebel T3i to take photos of my friends at the barn (and lucky me, he had a 70-200mm f4 to go with it). Soon enough, my parents would take me to local shows to watch Grand Prixes and I would bring the camera along. I vividly remember the first two Grand Prixes I took pictures of, first at the Menlo Charity Horse Show on the gorgeous grass field and the second at the Sacramento International Longines World Cup in the coveted indoor arena in Rancho Murieta. After hours of editing the thousands of photos I took, I was hooked and inspired to do more. During college, I would take any opportunity to work a weekend at a local horse show for the official photographer to enhance my skills. Now, ten years later from the horse girl with a camera doing this as a hobby, I am ready to take this on with all of my heart. If you are an equestrian athlete or simply a horse enthusiast I want to work with you to capture the special moments in your horse-filled life. Whether it be horse and rider portraits, show ring action shots, or the most meaningful candids back at the barn, I'm your gal!
